Re-set Click-thru Count on Jan 1....

I will reset the click-thru count on all 1300+ companies in the Links Section (and Directories) Jan. 1, 2005 back to zero. This will give us a better understanding of the traffic clicking thru from our site and the effectiveness of logos by the links. My advice is to make a note of your current "hits" number and record it some where along with the "date added". The date 9-10-2003 is the date we installed the current links software and all "hits" accumulated from the previous years were brought forward along with the companies we had at that time....hence some "7,000 hits" type numbers. :)

On the advice of my programmer, I beleive it prudent to leave the "hits" counter alone so that it can continue to accumulate total traffic. We will add another counter that says something like "Hits 2005" that will count click-thrus for the current calander year. I have printed up the entire Directory as of this date in all catagories except Builders Directory (since there are few builders with URL links). So if for some reason you want to know 5 months from now what your click-thru count was Dec. 31, 2004, I have it. ~ Happy New Year! :D

Well, our excellent programmer Techmonkey got it done the first week in Jan, if not exactly Jan 1st.......so we can see...."who is the fairest in the land." :D
