Jack.
In New Jersey, Delaware area we are getting $14-$15 per square foot for shells. I'm quite sure this number will vary from state to state. We did build a home in Virginia a few years ago and the local builder charged around $10 per square for the shell. He was a good builder and had been in the business for many years and the customer was very happy with his work.

yeah i know my prices are in line with most builders in va. i have built locally for 10.00 but unfortunatley most of my work requires travel and in some cases staying out of town i was just curious where people are paying up to the cost of log kits for labor

Hello Jack,

I think that it's fair to say that the required registration to post might have eliminated at least a few of those who were trying to sell their products by 'telling a fib or two'. ;)
