For those looking for lighting, try http://www.lampsplus.com. We bought some mission style lighting from them for our last house and I was impressed with their quality for a reasonable price. Just received an e-mail announcing they have a 1/2 price sale going on during March - worth checking out if you're in the market!

Kirk,

We found some great rustic lighting at Daniel Josephs DW Metalworks web site http://www.danieljoseph.com

We have two of his 49er style lights in addition to others.

He also has victoria style lighting as well.

Dan:

Nice stuff - but maybe a bit pricey at several hundred each fixture? The house we built was on a tight budget, so most of the light fixtures we bought were in the $30 - $90 range. Did the whole house for around $1000. Have seen fixtures similar to the ones we purchased from Arroyo Craftsmen and others for 3 to 4 times as much. For homeowners somewhat below the luxury end sometimes decent quality at a decent price wins out over high-end quality at a high-end price.

Kirk, we used those lights for accents in alcoves, bathrooms, and along our stairway.

We actually found some nice rustic lighting at Home Depot, and Expo Center.

It seems that after we bought our light fixturs, more and more places were carrying rustic style lighting.
