Offered for sale is the 'Williams Cabin' from Danville, VA.
It's 16'x18' made of pine logs, with v-notched corners, built between 1796 and early 1800s. It's 1-1/2 story (13 logs high) with original pine flooring (downstairs-fair cond, loft-vg cond), sawn loft joists, winder staircase, and pole rafters. Overall in very good condition, sills are gone, but the rest of the cabin is 95% good.
Cabin can be lowered by one course to close in the left chimney window and replace some of the bad logs or we can provide suitable replacements.
Pictures are located at: Danville Cabin (http://www.oldlogcabins.com/danville.htm)
Come and get it price is $5900 (proof of insurance or waivers req.) Includes all the blackberries you can eat! Must be gone by Aug 15th, no cleanup required. We can tag, treat, dismantle and load on your trailer for a total of $7400. Delivery and / or reconstruction can be arranged, cost depends on location.
This is a nice little cabin that would make a great guest house, workshop or log kitchen on your site.
e-mail (oldlogcabins@yahoo.com) me with questions, etc.
Thanks,
