Hi y'all, new member here, just dropping a few lines to say hi. My husband and I have been planning and saving for 9 years now to build our log home. We now have our design picked, and are getting our blueprints, contractor has been found and we will break ground in the spring of 2004!!!! YAAAAAAHOOOOO :)
Wish us luck! Anyone with any good tips, or great ideas, on dealing with contractors and or books that help with design and building, let me know. I have been reading for 9 years, bu there is probably tons of books and articles out there I missed!
